Staff
A nonprofit organization since 1954. We provide supportive services, information and advocacy to improve the quality of life for children and adults with mental retardation and related developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc promotes opportunities to live, learn and work in the local community among family, friends and neighbors. We work to ensure that people are valued and can contribute to the life of their communities.
The Arc Dearborn/ Dearborn Heights is part of a network of affiliated organizations with over 50 chapters in Michigan. We are affiliated with the State and National Arc- with over 160,000 members collectively, with the Arc Coalition of Wayne County, serving 2,400 people, and with the Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental Health Agency.
